“The Lookout” reflects connection, guardianship, and our shared responsibility to the natural world. Growing up in California, I was captivated by the quails in my yard, especially the one that always stood watch before leading its group safely forward. That simple act of care became a lasting symbol of vigilance, unity, and respect for life’s balance.

I hope “The Lookout” inspires a sense of wonder and reminds us all to care for the beauty and diversity that sustains our planet.
