"Defunded Dimensions" -Study for large scale 2019 - canvas

A study for a large scale piece that I started in 2019 in Budapest at an abandoned textile factory near my studio. I cut and pulled the best pieces from a large mostly destroyed roll of canvas which is why there’s holes, scars, creases and texture. I rolled it up to finish later and when I moved back to the States, this piece ended up getting lost in the shipment and spent about 6 months floating around Europe and the U.S. until it made it back to me somewhat safe and a bit tattered.

I finally got to finish this one in 2025 after a big round of mural work.
